Office of Justice Programs LGBT Pride Month Celebration: Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11am

The Office of Justice Programs is hosting the first ever LGBT Pride Observance,  “Justice Through Visibility,” at OJP Headquarters, 810 7th St NW, in the OJP Main Conference Room at 11am.  Opening remarks will be made by OJP’s Assistant Attorney General Laurie Robinson. Our keynote speaker is Kevin Jennings, Assistant Deputy Secretary for Safe and Drug Free Schools, U.S. Dept. of Education.  Slam poet Kit Yan will be performing after the address. Closing remarks will be made by DOJ Pride President Marc Salans.

The event is open to all DOJ employees and contractors.  We hope you can join!
